Desmond Ngai

Desmond Ngai is a lawyer who was diagnosed with ASD in 2019 at thirty-three years old.

After graduating from law school and failing the bar exam multiple times, he worked as a law clerk, notary, theatre usher, wrestling ring setup crew member, and film production intern. It took Desmond over eight years after graduating from law school before landing stable employment. Looking back, Desmond’s turning point was the ASD diagnosis, as it allowed him to take tiny but significant steps to improve his life. To his surprise, bigger things improved. Last but not least, he absolutely adores Taylor Swift’s music.
