6. How do I collect CEU credits? 

You will need the GCA Symposium conference app to collect credits. 

Please be sure to review the accreditation section of the event website.

7. Where do I go when I arrive?

The sessions are held in the Grand Ballroom on the lower level

8. What is the layout of the conference?

We are stilll working on the details for 2026. 

9. Will there be refreshments? 

Coffee breaks and a lunch buffet will be provided both days

10. Will my contact information be available to sponsors or exhibitors?

No. Your contact information will remain only with Geneva Centre for Autism with multiple safeguards in place.

11. Is the attendance cost higher than in past years?

With inflation, the cost is comparable to past in-person Symposiums. Hosting events of this scale, especially in the city of Toronto, is costly. As a charity, we set the price to cover our costs which include food/venue rental, speaker fees, AV costs, and other event supplies. We rely heavily on the generosity of sponsors to support the event as without them, we would not be able to afford to host the event.

12. Will the event be scent sensitive?   

In consideration of the fragrance sensitivities and allergies many individuals experience, all attendees are asked to please refrain from wearing scented products during the event.  

13. What is the audio and visual recording notice?

We will be capturing audio, photographs, and video throughout the event.  By entering the space, you agree to be audio recorded, photographed, and recorded on video. The materials may be used for GCA and partners' marketing and other purposes. 

14. Is there parking?

Valet Parking is available just outside the main lobby.

• The closest Green P is located at 110 Queen Street West (across the street from Sheraton). 
• Underground parking with access to the Sheraton via the PATH.

15. How do I get there via public transit? 

• The closest train station is Union Station.  
• The closest subway stations are Osgoode or Queen Station. 
• Streetcar number 501 runs along Queen Street, with a stop near the Sheraton Centre. 
• You can access the Sheraton via the PATH. 

16. I am interested in sponsorship or exhibiting, who should I contact?

17. I am an artist and would like to participate in the Artisan Market, who should I contact?

That’s great! Please review the information on the Artisan Market and share samples of your work ahead of the July 31 deadline via email artists@autism.net.

18. I am interested in submitting a poster presentation, do I have to register anwho should I contact? 

That’s great! Poster acceptance does not include complimentary registration.  All poster presenters and attendees must purchase a ticket for the day of the event.  Poster presenters are eligible to attend at a discounted rate. Please review the information on the research poster session page and submit an abstract ahead of the July 31 deadline via email research@autism.net.

19. Is there any possibility of participating virtually?

Unfortunately, there is no virtual component to the 2026 Symposium. All attendees will be participating in person only.

20. Is badge sharing allowed?

We encourage everyone to register on their own with one of our flexible 1-Day and 2-Day Pass options.

Flexible Attendance: We understand the scheduling and coverage challenges often faced by school boards & organizations. To better support your staff, we provide flexible registration options to fit their specific professional development needs:

• One-Day Pass: This option is ideal for staff who may have limited coverage but still wish to focus on specific workshops or world-class keynotes. It provides a targeted, high-impact day of learning and professional connection.
• Two-Day Pass: This pass offers the complete Symposium experience, including full access to all 24 expert-led sessions.
