Dr. Jennifer Low is an educator, researcher, and founder of Sarang Kitchen, a sensory-friendly restaurant in Toronto that creates inclusive employment and training pathways for neurodivergent adults.
She is also a teacher, bringing her work in inclusive education into both
classroom and community settings.
With over 15 years of experience in education, Jennifer’s work has focused on supporting neurodivergent, disabled, and diverse learners across school, community, and workplace contexts. She recently completed her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, with research focused on neurodivergent student voice, transition planning, and post-secondary employment outcomes.
Her work is grounded in the belief that inclusive employment is not only about access to work, but also about dignity, belonging, identity, and connection to community. Before founding Sarang Kitchen, Jennifer worked as a specialist teacher and restorative practices lead in New Zealand, supporting students with complex learning, communication, sensory, behavioural, and transition needs. She is also an Ontario Certified Teacher and holds a Master of Education with Distinction in Inclusive and Special Education.
