Eleonora Sermoneta is a museum practitioner and accessibility advocate with nearly two decades of experience across Canadian and European cultural institutions.
Most recently Senior Manager of Education and Public Engagement at the Aga Khan Museum, she led school programs, community outreach, digital learning, and accessibility initiatives — including sensory-inclusive resources and co-created supports for neurodivergent visitors developed in partnership with autism organizations. Her work advocates for a fundamental shift in how museums approach access — moving beyond compliance toward genuine inclusion. She has presented at ICCROM and MuseumNext, contributed to the Why Museums Matter podcast series, and published with Group for Education in Museums (GEM) and the International Institute for Conservation. She holds graduate degrees in Art History, Cultural Economics, and Heritage Resources Management.
